CHALLENGER INSURANCE BROKERS WAS STARTED IN 1996 BY CHRISTO SPIES SOLE MEMBER OF BROKERAGE.

HIS INSURANCE EXPERIENCE STRETCHES OVER 28 YEARS

• 1982 – 1987  Employed by Federated Insurance as an underwriter, and later became      

                   a consultant

• 1987 – 1991 – Technical Director (Screening of policy wording) at Price-Forbs

• 1992 – 1995 – Assistant Branch manager at ABSA BROKERS.

• 1996 – Started Challenger Insurance Brokers and Consultants.
